Join our team as a National DAFNE Training and Development Lead

An exciting opportunity for a confident, highly motivated and enthusiastic healthcare professional with specialist knowledge and experience in diabetes, intensive insulin therapy and structured education to join the national DAFNE programme as National DAFNE Training and Development Lead.

Please note: you do not need to be a DAFNE trained educator to apply for this role (see criteria below)

Specification	Essential	Desirable
Qualifications / Professional Registration	Highly developed specialist knowledge underpinned by theory and experience in diabetes, intensive insulin therapy and structured education at a level equivalent to masters level. Degree in Nursing or Dietetics or equivalent experience Current professional registration	Teaching qualification e.g. B 730, Cert Ed To have delivered DAFNE patient courses within the last 12-months Knowledge and experience of coaching

Whilst the position will be officially based in North Shields – home working will be an option.
